Partner meeting in Iceland

In January 28th – 31st, 2009 first partner meeting of the project was held in Iceland, Kopavogur. Representatives from partner organizations of WISE project met for the first time.

There were few main goals of the meeting:
To set up effective plan for implementing tasks of the project,
To discuss ideas and share experience in the field of adult education,
To meet representatives from local organizations and get knowledge about local socio – environment,
To start discussion about continuity of WISE and other project that this network could work on.

Partners were able to reach agreements, distribute tasks, and offer new ideas for this and future projects. A lot of time was dedicated for discussions about socio- cultural environment in each partner country: biggest problems, changes, governments and NGO’s role in it. Partners have agreed that this project covers very important issue in Nordic – Baltic region. There for this the idea and findings (results) of this project should be definitely be used further – in other projects. Partners have confirmed interest in continuity of this project within Nordplus Adult frame.
